A Message From the Principal

Welcome to Oasis Academy Henderson Avenue.

It is both an honour and a privilege to serve this community, where I have worked for the past 15 years. During this time, I have seen our academy grow, evolve, and continue to strengthen its place at the heart of the community. This journey has deepened my belief in the power of education to transform lives and create opportunity for all.

As part of Oasis Community Learning, we are united by a clear vision: to deliver exceptional education and to ensure every child is given the opportunity to fulfil their God-given potential. At Henderson Avenue, we are proud to embody this ethos through our commitment to inclusion, care, and high expectations for every child.

Our aim is not only to achieve strong academic outcomes, but to develop confident, resilient, and compassionate young people who are ready to contribute positively to society. We provide a rich and engaging curriculum, supported by dedicated staff who are passionate about nurturing each child’s growth and wellbeing.

Over the years, I have seen first-hand the strength of our community and the importance of the partnership between school and home. Together, we create a safe, supportive environment where every child feels valued, inspired, and empowered to succeed.

We remain ambitious for our future, continuously striving to improve and provide the very best opportunities for our students. I am incredibly proud to lead this academy and to be part of a community that is committed to making a difference.
